All my daycare parents had Friday off last week, so subsequently I did, too. Julio took the afternoon off, and we (Grammy, G-boy, HD and I) met him in the Amanas for lunch.
We parted ways for awhile after eating. Grammy & G-boy ran errands while Julio and I took HD to Deedee's, where they were having a big Independence Day Block Party/Carnival. We just had time to drop him off and snap a few photos before picking up G&G to go see "Angels & Demons" at Collins Road Theatres (our favorite movie spot - not just because they still run the commercial that Harrison is in).
The white house across the street hosted a cookout and projected "Kung Fu Panda" on the side of their house after darkness fell and sparklers were all done.
Harrison hurries to create samples of the animals he plans to make - he took about 75 balloons and used all of them - even the samples!
Savannah did face painting
Emilee did temporary tattoos
We didn't think to set HD up with food - his balloon animals were such a big hit, he didn't get to take a break until he ran out of balloons - about 2 hours after he started - by then he was SUPER hungry!
